Degree Options

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business

The Bachelor of Arts in Business is a 120-hour program combining the liberal arts foundation with a broad overview of business knowledge in areas such as management, accounting and marketing.

The degree program is composed of four categories of course work: the university Core curriculum, the business major core, electives and the business practicum.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business

The Bachelor of Science in Business is a 133-hour program combining the liberal arts foundation with specialized business knowledge for those students who are more quantitatively focused.

The degree program is composed of five categories of course work: the university Core curriculum, the business major core, electives, the business practicum and four additional courses focused on technical elements in business.

  • Business Analyst, Credit Analyst, Information Technology Manager, Business Risk Consultant, Customer Service Specialist, Sales

Minor in Business for Non-Business Majors

 The Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business offers a minor in business for non-business majors to study business in addition to their major program of study and a concentration in accounting for undergraduate students who want to have additional training in accounting but do not want to sit for the CPA exam. Learn more.

University Core

The Core Curriculum is a nationally recognized two-year, 60-credit hour sequence of classes that all UD students take, regardless of major. The Core sequence begins with the Greeks and moves forward through the great thinkers that built the western culture we know today.
